About A Green-Eyed Gal

My Photo
A Beautiful Dust Bowl, Texas, United States
I am a Christian, broken and imperfect, yet saved by the Grace of God and His son, Jesus Christ. I strive to keep my life more focused on Him. I am a (Military) Wife! I am devoted to supporting my LOVE in all that he does and desires to do. (and still have loves, interests, and goals of my own.) I am a Mom! I struggle every second to raise my son to be the person he needs to be. I am old-fashioned, and conservative, and the preservation of his morals, character, and soul are my utmost concern. I am a Sister, a Daughter, a friend, a neighbor, a Veteran, a traveler, a Republican, part of the NRA, a photographer, a painter, a reader, a crafter, my own best friend, my own worst enemy, eclectic, ugly sometimes, beautiful others. I love life. I see God in every part of our life. I am unable to let the world change me. Everything you find on these pages, are reflections of things that are important to me. Enjoy!

23 February 2010

Catching up!

Time flies when you are having fun, does it not?

I can hardly believe we are already nearing the end of February!  Christmas and New Years have come and gone!  So much has happened, I don't even know where to start with catching everyone up.  SO!  I will share some pics with some captions, and hope that suffices.

I want to say that I am finding the time to dive back into blogger world, but I honestly can't say that.  With homeschooling, Bible study, enrolling for school, martial arts, and soon soccer, I just don't know that I will have the time to devote.  We shall see.  I miss all my blogging friends!

Hope you all enjoy the pics!

DH and I at a Christmas Party.  Yup, I chopped my hair off!  I LOVE it!
We had such a great time that night making new friends, and catching up with
old ones.

This is me gearing up to celebrate DH's birthday.  We went dancing with lots of our friends.  Had such an awesome night out!

Iced sugar cookies that the kiddo helped me make.

More cookies!!!

The kiddo's first snow (and the first one of the year for our small town)

With Santa at the Kid's Christmas party.

DH surprised me with a trip to San Antonio where we stayed overnight, had dinner at a fancy restaurant, and saw the Transiberian Orchestra!  Awesome Birthday present!!!

Our newest family member.  He's a Yellow (or Australian Red) Border Collie.

The kiddo got his green stripe!!! So proud of him!!!

I know there are not many pictures here, but I hope you enjoyed the little peak into our life for the last few months.

There is much more to tell.  I hope that soon I will be able to spend some time telling it!
((PS... I am still updating the prayer list to the side. PLEASE take note of those on the prayer list!  Thank you!))
